Porting issues

I have been waiting for 3 weeks for my number to port. Nothing at all has happened. Customer services don’t have a clue what’s going on and keep redirecting me to my old network (who have done everything from their side). I’ve tried to cancel the virgin contract under the cooling off period (I don’t even care about the number any more) I just want to get away from virgin!! But they are refusing to do so until the port completes. Can anyone help?! It’s been 3 weeks - i’ve raised a complaint and all customer services can say is “not sure why this has happened”. Please someone help.
