Poor or no network signal

Since getting a new samsung A50 phone i have non existent signal in my home or garden. Have spoken to advisor tonight and done all the checks. Factory reset etc. Still no signal. Very disappointed with virgin as ive been a customer for years. Phone is useless to me. Is my best bet to buy a cheap vodaphone sim card for the 2nd slot (dual sim phone) and use for phoning from home. Shame ive got to do that as im paying a virgin contract.

Re: Poor or no network signal

Hi Lorrainelaird,

Thanks for your post and welcome to our community.

I'm really sorry that since getting a new phone you've been having issues with the signal, that isn't good.

Have you tried another network SIM in the phone, is it the same issue?

Have you tried another Virgin Mobile SIM in the phone, is it still the same issue?

Have you tried the SIM in another phone to see if it's any better?

We'd need to see if it's a signal fault or an issue with the handset.

Re: Poor or no network signal

I see Emma has come up with some advice, but... Rather than having a mobile network of their own, Virgin use EE for their signal (with some subtle differences)

Does your phone work in other areas? Or do you know any friends or relations on EE who can test their phone at your home?
