Phone taken by police - what next?

Hi. 

My contract phone has been taken by the police as part of an investigation. How do I get a replacement handset and / or SIM?

Nothing can be done about the phone. You may have to source one yourself.

As to the SIM I guess it depends on why the police need that before a replacement is issued.

Hi @VMuserScotAl. Sorry to hear this.

Sadly if you have any concerns you will need to speak to your police liaison regarding this. We are unable to re-issue a new phone or handset to you whilst this investigation is ongoing. 

We will be able to issue a loss of service credit when you have the SIM back, if you can please get in touch with us then.
