Been overseas for 3 months, conatced VM customer service twice before leaving (as had problem on previous trip) to confirm calls and data roaming activated on both my and my wife's phone.
Indonesia - nothing worked. Had to buy local sim card to call VM. Reset some settings as done done properly first time. Wait 24 hours. Nothing.
Topped up local sim and called back. Changed more settings and went through phone set up. My wife's phone worked, mine did not.
Made do with one phone for 2 weeks until that stopped again. Made do with WiFi for last 8 weeks.
Now additional security on banks/credit cards mean we NEED to receive text messages to buy flights etc on line.
Just bought another sim in Philippines, spoke with customer services again. Reset settings, nothing.
Said they cannot call me overseas or whattsapp call (you're a telecoms company!) to save more expensive calls. So posting on here.
VM help me! I'm been paying for no service for 12 weeks and now need it fixing!!

Yes, I tried that. The problem is not resolved.
