O2 move

I moved from O2 to VM because the reception was poor at home and non-existent where I holiday.  I’ve just returned from holiday having had little or no reception and it’s now poor at home.

Has the move to O2 been completed?

if so, is there anything I can do apart from move to EE?

regards

Hi @ALF28

I feel your pain. I would have a look at a price comparison website like Martin Lewis’s Money Saving Expert (MSE). There you can find PAYG deals which used to be plain and simple, but nowadays anything that has a 30 day deal seems to be put under that heading. If I’ve done it right, this link will take you there:

https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cheap-mobile-finder/sim-only/

MSE also shows you which network any company uses, like Virgin use Vodafone for new contracts.

If you like Three then you might be happy with Smarty, they’re fully owned by Three but offer 30 day bundles at very low cost, you can find them here, it’ll give you a free month to try them out: https://i.smarty.co.uk/WTcQ4cx Their 30 day bundles start at around £6 but you might be looking for something cheaper, if so MSE should help.

Thanks for all the advice everyone, I have looked at the moneysaving expert cheap mobile finder.

As all my contacts are on my phone so I will us a pac code to keep the phone number when I decide to switch.

Then I have to switch my wife's phone also.

I conclude that the choise is narrow for payg and the big operators are ditching payg so viritual operators still do payg.

I will look at the tariffs cost/minute etc. and the monthly costs.
