Not registered/ no network

My phone was working all year right up to 11 am today.

Since then 3 bars, but not service, no network, not registered messages appear.

Restarted phone, no joy

Updated phone, no joy

Tried manual selecting a network - all fail to connect.

Phone: Samsung Galaxy S7

Cannot ring 789 or 150, as no service.

Virgin mobile does not seem to have webchat help.

Virgin mobile does not seem to have email support.

So at the moment paying for zero service.

Re: Not registered/ no network

Possibly a faulty sim or mast maintenance.

You can check the latter here.

Re: Not registered/ no network

Not mast issue.

So possibly sim died at 11am today, while i was asleep.

Hmm very odd.

Hello MarkCunningham,

How are things looking at the moment? I am sorry to hear you have had these issues with your sim.

Thanks Joe_F

Re: Not registered/ no network

No Joy Yet

Was pointed to a Live Chat service which should be on the website, but I cannot find it. Only links to call various numbers, which is a tad difficult when the phone will no longer connect.

Tried using a pin to get the sim holder to pop out and it will not budge and just bent the pin.

So looking like it will be over 48hrs with zero service and with Virgin helpfully asking me to call on a phone that does not call in or out.

I take it i will need to take time off and out to go to a Virgin phone store and then wait even longer for someone to try and "fix" it.

What I don't understand is why this suddenly occurred.

Re: Not registered/ no network

Right I see. I can appreciate the frustration with that. What I will do is private message you to get some details to help further.
