Not receiving messages

Switch my son number over to Virgin but just noticed he can’t receive text messages but he can send them. Called customer service who told me to remove the chip for 10 mins and restart phone with have done but still no joy! Checked phone setting and all normal

Sorry to hear this is occurring. What is the make and model of your son's handset? Try sending a message to his own number, if possible.
