No Push notifications from applications while using Mobile Data
Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but I seem to have a weird issue. I have a Galaxy S9+ on Virgin Mobile.
My issue is that when I am using Mobile Data, push notifications for applications that rely on Data usage, like WhatsApp, or my banking app. These issues do not occur on WiFi. Often when my WhatsApp tries to backup to Google Drive, I get an error advising that I am roaming. I am wondering if its something to do with Virgin being an MVNO and using EE's network.
I have also tried a different networks SIM card in the phone (Three Mobile) and that worked fine with no issues.
I have data roaming turned on.
And my APN settings are the default that was setup when I put the SIM in:

Hi Mark_G3. Thanks for letting us know about your push notification concern.
Can you confirm what handset do you have with us and have you already checked on how your handset settings are set up? The reason I asked is because, there is a setting that you have an option to set your push notification to "off" unless you're on WiFi.
