New sim problems.

Well, ive got my new payg sim, but I cant get past save your messages to phone, I dont have contacts app or anything that shows anyway to do this, yes Ive googled my a off and still cant find it! Phoning  to get help is useless as all you do is send a link that dosent work anyway, I DONT want online help as it hardly ever works, I want to speak to someone who can help. I am loath to swap the sim at the moment as I dont want to lose contacts. Help!,

Re: New sim problems.

Right it's Android so your contacts should be on the phone and not your SIM

Easy check, take out your current SIM and run the phone. If the contacts are still there you they are on the phone.

Re: New sim problems.

Well if your contacts are on the SIM they won't be lost be removing it they stay there till you put it back. If they ars on the phone then they are there when the SIM is removed.

How do I know? I've been testing Android firmware for Google since 2011

Re: New sim problems.

Only asked you to remove it temporarily at this point to check if your contacts are on the phone.

If you are really worried back up your contacts to a Google account and then restore them later. Thats the beauty of Android. I've just changed phones and all my contacts etc were transferred over via Google.
