Hi there im having trouble with my new contract sim only in my iPhone xr, I’ve followed all instructions on switching from my previous sim to my new virgin one but after 24hrs of waiting for it to activate it still hasn’t activated, and i cant find any solutions online for this problem it will say its searching for a connection then says no service on my phone.
Can i get a solution to fix this issue?

I am sorry to hear you are having some issues activating your sim, just to confirm is the handset from us or did you purchase it yourself?
Did the agent advise it was a self-activation sim?

The handset I’ve had for a year now I purchased myself which did have a id mobile sim in but the contract for that recently ended hence why im now trying to use my new virgin sim and as far as im aware all i have to do is pop it into the phone and wait (which hasn’t worked) but that’s what the virgin instructions say
