My mobile plan has switched O2 without me authorizing. Is this normal?

A warm welcome to our Community Forums and thanks for your post.
Throughout 2022, all Virgin Mobile customers were gradually moved over from the Vodafone network and masts and onto O2's instead.
As of March 2023, we have also started moving our mobile customers from their current Virgin Mobile tariff to a comparable O2 plan. We'll continue to move customers over to O2 mobile plans throughout the year, and by the end of 2023 all existing and newly joined Virgin Mobile customers will have been moved to O2 plans.
Notifications were sent to all customers before the changeover started.
