My mobile data not working properly

Hello,

I have purchased the 30 days monthly contract about a week ago or so. I barely get any signal and the data barely works. the only reason I got the sim  card was because the advisor guaranteed I would good signal. 

I have bought this plan to use on my mobile Wi-Fi device, as I need it to work from home, and it barely works. 

any advice?

Sorry to hear you are having an issue with your signal.

Does this happen indoors and outdoors?

Have you tried other locations?

Are you able to try the Sin in another unlocked handset?

Nobody can ever guarantee a good signal Indoors as you intend to use it; there are too many variables.

Virgin use O2 for signal so check

Having done that check

https://status.o2.co.uk/ for possible faults.

I’ve only tried indoors. I also tried it on my iPhone 13 Pro Max and still the same issue 

I understand that. I’m not really a tech person or understand how it all works, but if no one can guarantee it then why did they say it anyways? If they told me what you just said it would’ve been better.

All people have to go on re signal are coverage maps but they are a computer prediction and there are a number of local variable not accounted for.

The only real way is trying PAYG SIM cards to see what works best for you
