I have just changed to Virgin on a monthly Sim only package and successfully changed my number over to the new SIM last Monday and all worked great until Sunday when I could no longer get any service and my iphone keeps saying not activated and needing to contact service provider.
I have tried restarting the phone, but this did not help.
I cannot phone 789 for help, since no service, so thought I would try here.

I'm very sorry to hear about the issue you're having with your service.
I have been able to locate your account and do wish to help try and resolve this for you.
What I will do is private message you so we can go through some tests.
