Hi. My husband had forgotten the password to his mobile account. He cannot reset it as VM sends a code to his phone which currently isn’t working here in Greece.

Welcome back to the community and thanks for taking the time to post.
I'm sorry to hear of the issues that your husband is having but we would need to speak to him directly to help with getting his password reset, as this can only be done by the account holder.
Has your husband tried to use the reset password link on the site?

Yes. But VM sends a passcode to his mobile phone which he never receives as he can’t connect to a network.

Is your husband connected to WiFi and able to use WhatsApp? if so, he can message us on WhatsApp using 0730 532 7112. Please be aware that replies aren't instant from this service but the agents will reply as quickly as they possibly can. Alternatively, is your husband able to create a forum account and get in touch that way?
