Mobile Data not working

My Mobile Data has stopped working - recent activity - Virgin have given me 10GB of data plus they sent me a new sim card which I inserted as per the instructions. I've tried switching on plane mode , switching off mobile data then reversing that. I've also switched phone off, removed sim card, left for at least 30 seconds then re-inserted sim card. Moile data still not working. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately no I haven't. It is so frustrating not being able to use it when I'm away from a Wifi source. Virgin have awarded me a 10GB data boost for the coming month but what use is that if I can't connect to the internet via Mobile Data.

If you have changed your SIM it is likely your APN settings have not updated. The old ones are no longer valid

If you go to Settings> More Networks> Mobile Networks> Access point names. Then there should be an option to add new settings.

Thank you very much for your help. It seems to have worked. It's a shame Virgin don't send this information out with the new sim cards - it would save a lot of time and frustration.

My phone make is Blackview 

And I got the new sim a couple of days ago.
