Update on further tests, which I am getting really really bored with doing over and over again.....
Further auto text config messages received and installed to no avail.
manually updated according to what they advised....yet again.....to no avail.
Installed Network cell info and have found that her sim in the j5 just won't try and connect to any 4g signals anywhere. Her sim in my phone doesn't want to connect to a 4g mast either. Only 3G signals only. My sim in her the j5, picks up 4g masts straight away.
So, is it the sim, although it's been replaced already, or more likely, a problem on the network that doesn't allow her phone to choose 4g masts with her sim?
I have given up with with the mobile support team, as it's never ending Groundhog Day..........I know their scripts off by heart now.
Does anybody know if the Bellshill team are still there?
I might just go to another network and get another providers sim for her j5. Very poor show VM.

The weird thing is that the 3g cell reception is jumping all over the place, even trying to connect to a mast that's about 8 miles away, even when the nearest ones are within a mile. I would suspect the phone, but as i've said, it's perfect with my own sim from my phone on the same vm network.
