Leaving virgin media but keeping mobile phone accounts.

Hi.

I gave a virgin oomph bundle but am leaving at the end of the month.

 Is a it possible to keep the mobile phone account going as a seperate account please?

My mobile phone was part of the bundle but my wife's mobile was i believe,  a stand alone mobile account?

I am sorry to hear you will be leaving us at the end of the month. 

When the linked media account disconnects, I am afraid the SIM will also be deactivated sorry. If you wish to keep the number, we would recommend requesting a PAC to take the number to another provider.

Is it not possible to open a seperate mobile only account with you and keep the same mobile number?

Thank you for your reply nopacman. 

I am afraid we are not able to transfer the number from one account to another. 

The other option would be to port the number to another SIM and then back to ourselves on a new account.

My wife has a virgin mobile which i believe was not tied to the bundle.

Will this one continue as normal?

You're welcome nopacman. 

If your Wife's SIM is not linked to the account, this will continue as normal and should not be impacted by the disconnection of the media account.

Who do i contact to request a pac please?

There are a few options to requesting a PAC. 

You can text PAC and your date of birth (dd/mm/yyyy) from your SIM to 65075. 

You can also request this over the phone or via your online account by logging in here.
