Is it true i can get a phone after 3 months?

Hello,

I was wondering if you could help me. I have a virgin mobile sim only contract, when I got this contract the woman on the phone said to me that after the 3rd monthly payment, as long as they are paid on time I can then upgrade to a phone handset contract. I just want to know if this is true as I'm coming up to my 3rd payment.

You can try, but it's an old ploy but out by those in the call center to get commission. It was supposed to be stopped.
