Re: Intermittent Loss Of Service

There's no obligation to replace the sim, if the old one continues to work keep an eye on it and the new sim will expire after a month.

Re: Intermittent Loss Of Service

Low signal / emergency calls only in London today - is there a known issue?

If it's a local mast/signal problem, you can use the EE service checker  https://myaccount.ee.co.uk/networkchecker/checkservice

Re: Intermittent Loss Of Service

Thank you - just realised I used my home postcode instead of the office one when I checked earlier!

Confirmed maintenance issue in my area.

Re: Intermittent Loss Of Service

Thanks you for the update.

My phone has been working for almost 48 hours now with no loss of service - so fingers crossed!

It coincided with me removing the sim to check the serial number and phoning virgin for a third sim card.  I thought one of these two things had triggered a re-boot but perhaps it was just a coincidence.

Anyway, all's well that ends well.

Re: Intermittent Loss Of Service

I’m still getting intermittent loss of service after upgrading my sim a week ago.

Toggling airplane mode doesn’t help, and it only reconnects after restarting my phone.

Re: Intermittent Loss Of Service

I have just posted as I did not see this. I have been having issues with the new purple sim cards since August.  Been told today that signal in my area has issues and if  I want a mobile that works I should change providers as it will be two months before the signal is corrected. If you use the check for signal it shows  the signal as good. So frustrated and never known a company tell you to go somewhere else

I've been having the same problems since inserting the new SIM I didn't ask for.  Is that a 319 I can see?

Re: Intermittent Loss Of Service

On my second sim starting with 319! Still having to reboot phone to regain a signal after losing it!  This has been ongoing for a month now and is starting to wear very thin!!  Am looking for a decent deal with other service providers as Vm don't seem to be doing jack sh.. to sort!!
