I cancelled my account and number but it is still online

I gave 30 days notice in March on my mobile account. I took a new contract and number with another provider but my virgin mobile is still open - no charge in the last month but why isn't the actual account closed, please?

Thank you so much for your post and welcome to the community forums, it's great to have you here! 

You may still be able to see your old numbers if you log into your account but this does not mean the account is still active.

Are you able to make calls via the Virgin Mobile sim card?
