Hi

I'm trying to work out how I can get a 5g sim, or be switched over.
At the moment the EE signal where I live is so bad that I struggle to get a signal at times, but the Vodafone signal is far better.
I have a 5g phone (just not in an area with 5g at the moment), so while I won't be able to use 5g straight away I will at least get a better signal with vodafone.
I have looked in my account and really can't figure out what I need to do to request a switch.

Did you get your phone through Virgin?

I'm told 5G will go to those that take out a 5G phone or SIM only contract first, followed by those that bought a 5G phone from Virgin after April of last year.

The official change does not come till the end of the year when the full 5 year deal with Vodafone comes into effect.
