Havinf=g problem making call from Virgin sim

I am having constant problems with making calls.I have a Samsung S10e and have restarted the phone twice checked the sim still have the same problem.

I have then tried on iPhone same problem.

I am nearly on the verge of changing to another provider.

Any suggestions

When making any after dialing it just connect and i have try 2 or 3 times before call gets connected and rings

Have you tried the Sim in another handset?

Also does this happen in just one particular area?

Meant to say when making call it jsu does not connect and no dial tone
