I have just moved to Virgin from O2 and now I cannot access any gambling sites over 3/4G unless I use a VPN. Over WiFi it works fine. Parental Control is OFF as it was changed/checked on two occasions by VM support.
I get a range of errors from the sites such as:
"An SSL Error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made"
"Error accessing site, Request Denied, Your client address is unknown"
"Safari cannot open the page because it could not establish a secure connection to the server"

You will need to go into your online account, turn off parental controls and then reboot your phone

Thanks for the advice but I got this sorted a few months ago.
A new SIM and someone at Virgin Media making the correct setting to ensure my Parental Control actually worked did the trick.
