Why is there not a simple automatic web based outage reporting system? All I wanted to do is say 'There is no reception at xxxxxxx postcode' but am subjected to lengthy security checks which waste everyone's time and I don't always have my passwords to hand.

On TV, broadband & fixed-phone, Virgin own and operate their own network and manage faults from end-end.
On mobile, Virgin are reselling EE's network coverage with their own billing and support systems. So any faults on the "radio" network can potentially be reported via Virgin-Mobile CS, but Virgin will just then be reporting it to EE. Account setup and billing type issues are Virgin-managed if you have a new purple-SIM.
