Error 500 when sending texts. Phone keeps cutting out too

Anyone had this,  

Error 500.

On the phone it struggles to keep a connection. 

Pulled the sim out and back in again but didn't help.

Had the phone for more than 2 years.

Are you able to make and receive calls OK? Also have you been able to try the SIM in another handset or another SIM in your current handset to see if the error replicates?

The calls are working at first but then the cut out while I'm talking to people. 

The text usually goes through if I keep trying it.  

Nothing worse than an intermittent fault. 

Not tried the sim in another phone but I don't have one. 

What is error code 500??

From the image provided it appears the handset is connected to a wireless network, do you experience the same problems when using the mobile network?

Can you also try this in different locations to see if it is area specific or everywhere?

Virgin say there is network problems in my area. 

My texts and calls do not use wireless network or wi fi.  Shud just be the coverage should it not??

Tried it in England and in Scotland. 

Data slow

Texts tepremental 

Phone calls cut out. 

On WiFi the phone is fine on Internet.

Hi Nat, I am having the exact same issues as kevino81.  My phone signal goes on and off all the time, it will not connect to any mobile data but can make calls and also Whatsapp messages do come through sporadically.  I was sent a new sim card which I have registered but the problems remain.  i have just tried to send a text message and got the error 500 code.

Please help.
