No problem. No-one should feel that they are stuck paying for a service which is not working right for them - when they do not need to be stuck with it !!.
Well that is what I have been told.
I need to move back to my previous, but have to pay the early exit charges.
Is there any magic that can be done ?

I believe the SIM you have is part of a Oomph bundle?.
If so, things are quite different with it being part of a contract for 12 months or more :-(
I think the only way to PAC out without costs, is to somehow persuade Virgin that the SIM is not fit for purpose with this notification problem - no idea on how to go about that I'm afraid.
