Conditional call forwarding

I have never asked for this service and now find I have it.

I have tried to disable it but the virgin service does not allow me to disable it.

Having gone into voice call setting on my Samsung I get "Forward when busy", "forward when unanswered" and "Forward when unreachable". All of these settings go to 44748333222.

Voice call settings for "Always forward" shows "disabled".

I have tried to disable them but get the message : "Failed to read data. Unexpected response from network."

How can I disable these settings?

Posts from about 2 years ago say that Virgin does not offer call forwarding. As of now calls are forwarded to my voicemail

Just carried out test and call was forwarded.

Re: Conditional call forwarding

Still have the same problem. Anybody know the answer or do I have to change to a decent company?

Re: Conditional call forwarding

Simple answer.

The only call forwarding on Virgin is to Voicemal.

No conditional call forwarding to other numbers

Re: Conditional call forwarding

Thanks for your reply but call forwarding is active.

In voice call settings "always forward" is disabled, but "forward when busy", "forward when unanswered" and "forward when unreachable"  all show forward calls to +447458333222. when trying to disable these settings the message "Failed to read data Unexpected response from network". No number is set in the voicemail section.

Also when I do not answer incoming call it goes to voicemail.

I have had customers call my mobile and say they have left a message when they could not reach me on my mobile.

I could therefore be losing business because of Virgin's bad service.

Re: Conditional call forwarding

I thought you wanted to divert to another number, sorry.

As for loss of business just a reminder that you are on a domestic service, not Virgin Business, so that won't cut it with them.

Re: Conditional call forwarding

Virgin's system does not allow you to change voicemail/call forwarding (to voicemail number) via your phones settings.

Only options you have, is to turn voicemail on or off is via your online account or phoning 789 and requesting.

Maybe turning your voicemail off and then back on may reset/rectify your problem of all calls going to voicemail.
