Changed plan

My contract finishes on the 27 April so on Tuesday I phoned CS to set up a new one. I asked if I could get the 10GB for £10. I was told I could and went through everything. Checked bank details and was told that the new plan would start on the 28 April. Since then I have received no confirmation. All I have received was a text message saying “Your £6 Lifetime Discount for £0.00 is all set up.”

Should I be getting a confirmation email? I was asked if the email address was current. 

Any advice would be appreciated

No email confirmation is sent out when you change plan.

Seeing you had the £6 discount confirmation, it looks like all is set-up ready for your refresh date, if you log into your online account and goto "About My Plan" - it should show the upcoming plan change.

I've checked on my account on line and it does show it.

I would have been nice to have been told this instead of just given a 15 digit conformation number.
