Cant set up/get to work mobile internet

Just got Sim only. Thought internet settings were applied automatically but they are not.

Have followed instructions on here typing in APN info, but it wont connect. Have done it 3 times and turned phone off each time etc. 

Doesn't seem to be an option on here to request they text you settings etc.

I cant even find a phone number to call to be talked through it.

What colour SIM card. The APN settings are different for the purple SIMS to the original ones.

There is a sticky at the top of this forum with the new ones listed

Sorry what's a sticky? Chip side of Sim is red. Other side looks purple or black with virgin logo on. Both sides white border. Ringing virgin they told me reset my phone but don't want the ball ache of taking everything off phone, as that was main reason I opted for sim only.

Thx you very much enilli. Found sticky and I'm all working. Shame the idioms at virgin themselves couldn't tell me this. Horah for helpful tech savvy folk. 😊
