Can you pick your own number when starting a new contract if you know that the mobile number is not in use?
ive just took out a new contract and the mobile number is terrible never going remember it

When you join Virgin Mobile we will provide you with a mobile number, you can either keep this or you can port one in from another network.
You would have to own the number that you're bringing over too us, we can't take one that is unregistered with a network and not in use.
If you have any issues with the number we give you then this can be changed but it would be a randomly selected number, I'm afraid we can't create one.
