Can't change SIM, am abroad

Virgin have sent a new SIM card to my parents' address with a letter explaining I need to change my SIM within 14 days or I won't be able to keep using their services. Unfortunately I can't physically change the SIM because I (and my phone) are currently abroad and will be until at least the end of January. Is there any way around this?

Hi Jmslater, thanks for the message and welcome to the forums. 

We are currently migrating customers and you should have had messages conforming this and the new sim would need to be activated within 30 days. The sim can only be activated within the UK, we can only send sims to addresses in the UK, would they be able to post it out to you?
