Called from this number are barred

Hi,

i tried to call some people last night but everyone I called it says “calls from this number are barred” I’ve tried texting them but the messages are failing to send 

is there anything that I can do about this as I need my phone to be able to call people urgently

Are you currently in the UK or traveling? Also, when making the calls/sending texts, is this to one particular contact or all of them?

I am very sorry to hear you have been experiencing some issues when making calls from your mobile phone. 

 

In order for for us to understand the issue and assist further, can you please confirm the following for me?

 

Have you recently made any changes to your account or received a new SIM?

When making the calls/sending text, does your handset show a signal or 'No service'?

Have you rebooted the handset since the problem started?

 

If you have not attempted a reboot, can you please try this and let us know if this helps to resolve the issue?

I have not received a new SIM card 
when sending messages the messages fail to send 

I have tried to reboot the phone but that doesn’t help at all

Thank you for confirming. 

 

Are you able to test the SIM in a different handset at all? This will help us to determine if problem is related to the SIM or the phone itself.
