Been trying to get someone at Virgin to activate my call waiting for me. Just logged onto here to post and the irony of seeing the following message at the top of this page! Msg says

Why not try our Text Messaging Service?

Just send your query to 07533016422 and we’ll text you back.

Messages are free when sent from a Virgin Mobile connection.
We're open 8am - 10pm Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm weekends.

Well I've tired this, got through security, was told to wait a moment... That was over 3 hours ago. Are there any Virgin people on here that could help with my request please as I seem to be getting nowhere.

I have 3 phones on my account and only 1 works with call waiting the 2 others now show a call coming in but when you try and answer it says 'can't switch calls' 

So unfortunately no the issue isn't resolved.

Mine is now sorted for both phones, they had to switch on the option to hold a call. Call waiting was active but call hold wasn't meaning couldn't hold the current call to accept the new call. 

David was very helpful and put me in touch with a lady who sorted the problem. Hopefully if he sees this and the issue I had he can check your call hold option.

Well David has not got in touch on here so my hopes for that was dashed.

We rang VM 6 times in total, at different times of day, to try to get through to someone who could understand the issue.

Eventually we got through to what sounded like Canada who got it sorted. She explained that VM had had a problem which had caused this!!

Why could VM not sort it any of the times we rang until we got through to her?

Why did VM not sort the problem when they had it, or contact customers to say they had a problem which had changed our settings?

Disgusting service once again !!
