Applied for a new contract but it’s parked

I applied for a iPhone 13 contract on 28/07 and was told I would receive an email. After hearing nothing for around a week, I logged into my account to check the order status and found it was parked and was told a member of customer service will be in contact. I tried phoning but was put through to a lady that I couldn’t understand so I hung up. What should I do?
