Have had a 5g SIM only contract since August 2021 with no issues. About 2/3 weeks ago the signal switched to 4g and has remained that way since. Could it be because I've been switched from Vodafone's network to O2? A manual network search lists Virgin, EE (in duplicate), 3UK and Vodafone.
If that is the case, may as well switch as my contract is up soon and the current speed I have now is woeful.

Can you please confirm what handset you have? Have you tried using the SIM in another handset?
