Re: 4G in London

Same again yesterday for me - three tests in East Ham between 4 and 5 pm. 013, 0.23 and 0.46 downloads. Uploads were much better @ 32.9, 12.6  and 6.03 respectively. I will PM the details as before but don't hold out much hope. On wi-fi when I took the pic.

Re: 4G in London

Mines not even able to run speed test today in EC4. Having to switch to 3G

As usual it's fine out of London and it was fine in London before 7am

Re: 4G in London

I would really love for one of the mods to get in touch with me about this as it’s really annoying just want something to be done about it.

Its a real shame because the service overall is quite good.

I wonder if they used Vodafone instead of EE would this make a difference? It is only a matter of time before this probably happens with Liberty Global and Vodafone cosy relationship. It’s obvious EE don’t want to give Virgin extra capacity.

Re: 4G in London

Just had a look at the PlusNet forum. Similar complaints. They are another MNVO using EE. So it looks like capacity issues. No access to 800MHz 4G does not help

Re: 4G in London

Plusnet,BT and EE are all the same company now, I’m surprised they don’t offer 4G voice on plusnet seeing that BT own the lot now.

Plusnet is their cutdown budget service though - no WiFi calling, VOLTE or support for sending Short Code texts, adding support for them would up the prices and lose that sector of customers?.

Re: 4G in London

Done this several times over several months .

Has an engineer actually visited the affected areas?  It's likely quicker to diagnose if there's an engineer on site.  When my landline goes down they send a human to fix it. Does the same process not follow here?
