24 hours delay for SMS?

Good evening everyone

I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 with two sims.

For the last few months, I am having some weird delays when receiving SMSs.

Quite often the delay is something like 12 to 24 hours.

Obviously a problem when.

Any idea what might be the cause?

I had no problems initially...

I'm so sorry to hear this issue is occurring! 

Have you been able to try the SIM in another handset? If so does the issues still occur?

Have you had a SIM replacement recently?

Yes, my Virgin seem was replaced recently but I think it happened before that

Sorry to hear you're having issues with receiving texts.  Can you confirm if this is all text messages?  Or ones from banking apps etc?

It is random texts. I don't send many so is quite noticeable at times.

Yes, and other previous handsets. It is only a few folk who mention delays, one being my wife.
