on demand buffering and freezing

Happens constantly and getting worse - Ive had to stop using these services which negates the point of spending so much for Virgin in the first place. Is this a Tivo issue or a virgin media issue?

I'm really sorry to hear you are having trouble with your on demand service and apologies for any frustration this is causing. I have a few questions so we can try and narrow down the cause of this a little:

Does the buffering/freezing happen on all programmes?

Does this happen when you are trying programmes from different channels?

How is your TiVo connected to the internet?

Does the buffering/freezing happen on all programmes? yes all on demand services/apps e.g. iplayer or netflix

Does this happen when you are trying programmes from different channels? yes

How is your TiVo connected to the internet? via the wifi boxprovided by Virgin = via a cable

I see, How are you internet speeds looking? are you able to do a speedtest.net for me?

Do you receive an error code at all when trying to view on demand services? 

 

Can we ask you to check if the issue also occurs when viewing a help video?

 

To do this go to Home - Help - Help Videos

 

Then select any of the help videos available.

 

When was the last reboot of the equipment performed? If this hasn't been done for a while can you carry out a reboot please?
