hi had a second box TiVo set up in sons bedroom he moved out so moved it to my bedroom but cannot get channel description up tried settings and network but it says ethernet cable not connected but didn't have ethernet cable in sons room
The message about an ethernet cable is misleading. It's not referring to a cable, it means it's lost its upstream return path so catch up, apps, epg info and a few other things won't work properly. This is most likely due to a signal issue at the coax point in your bedroom. You'll need to get a VM engineer out to re-balance the signal levels at the coax in your bedroom.
