network cable unplugged failure

network cable unplugged notice and no update for over a week. tried different cables - no change. modem fine as wifi working and tv/pc working on network cables too so looks like a failure of the cable socket / connection on the Tivo box ? 

Anyone else had a failure of the networking side of the tivo box confirmed?

Can you confirm this issue is with a TiVo and not a V6?

If so, the ‘unplugged cable’ is logical and not physical and suggests that TiVo’s own internet connection (which does not use your broadband) is the source of the problem.

Assuming you have tried a restart of the TiVo (power off then on is the easiest way), you will need to phone in for support or wait here for up to a week for Virgin Media to respond.

to be honest not sure - tivo powered thats for sure and  platform DCX960 and the ondemand goes through a network cable between the tv box and the Hub 3 (in modem only mode). Everything else that is connected to the hub is working ok hence I suspect the tv box - yes rebooted serveral times, changed cables, phoned and auto test showed nonprobs but didnt speak to anyone at that time.

Hi If you look on your bill you can see if it's TiVo or a V6 as the advice will be different according to the box you have.Regards Micky
