No idea about packages.. I was paying 44 pounds a month direct debit .. which  will have to be cancelled... Virgin have started taking 58 a month  since March! .. silly me for trusting them .

So in a word you have been paying for VM services and you don,t know what you have been paying for ? Good start did/do you have Tv/Broadband/Phone ? How long have you been with VM it sounds as if you were a new customer who has come to the end of the special offer you signed up for and you monthly bill has now gone up to its standard cost,

You would have been told this at the beggining when you signed up ?

Yes TV Broadband and phone.. and No I wasn't told this.. had no emails saying anything about price increases.. I dare say there is something in the small print. It seems like sharp practice to me.

Re: Why has my bill increased by 30% 😠

Of course you have been told.

You get a bill every month.

Comparison of the first higher bill to the previous lower bill will yield the answer.

Reason is likely a welcome or loyalty discount coming to an end.

EVERY bill you have had will have advised of these discounts and when they end.

Your contract is also a good source of documentation.

Re: Why has my bill increased by 30% 😠

How long have you been a customer? Could it be that your new customer deal has expired and that you are now subject to the full cost without such a discount being applied? Did you have similar limited period discounts in association with your account?

Contract, what contract. you're telling me VM gives you a contract. I've been onto them THREE TIMES to give me a contract and  I still haven't got one from them since I got the phone added by them last month.

Re: Why has my bill increased by 30% 😠

If nothing has changed on your package then it sounds like you've just reached the end of your introductory period, for instance, my package is at the special rate of £55 for the first year and then rises to the standard £74. This is why the package prices say thing like "£34 for the first 12 months, then £55 per month".
