I was interested in upgrading my TiVo box to 6 but was told that as I no longer have broadband with Virgin that this was not possible. Is this true? I can't understand why Virgin would refuse my custom because I have dropped the broadband
The V6 does not have its own cable modem, unlike the standard TiVO. It therefore relies for connectivity via VM's latest Superhub. There is no guarantee it will work when using another providers hub or connection. Hence VM cannot offer TV without broadband.
