One possibility. Do you have Virgins Connect app installed?
Is your phone connecting to the public WiFi hotspot your hub is transmitting, instead of your home network. Several people have had this issue.

.. or is your TiVo an ‘old’ TiVo, rather than a V6, without an Ethernet connection to your Superhub?

As I can connect to the box downstairs and not upstairs I will assume it’s the box not me. As a Reply to the other person I have tried both connections methods you mentioned , but no it changes nothing . Thank you both for replying .
