Tivo transfer

 Hi

We have a new V6 box and I want to transfer series links, etc from the old one.

The only links I can find don't work.

Anyone any ideas?

I also have this issue. Looks like the sign-in ID link isn't working. I'm reporting this to VM tomorrow.

Thanks for replying.

The link itself (http://manage-virgintvgo.virginmedia.com/tivo/boxswap/) works for me - but when I log in I get either an error (HTTP Error 500) or just a blank white screen.  I have tried on various browsers.  I am using the correct credentials - they get me into my Virgin Media account.

Are you able to actually log in and manage your Tivo via that link?

Fiddling around further, chopping off a bit of the URL at a time, I have found that http://manage-virgintvgo.virginmedia.com/ does work.  However, clicking on 'Manage My Tivo' goes to http://manage-virgintvgo.virginmedia.com/tivo/ , and that gives a blank screen.

I have not connected my new v6 box, as I first wanted to transfer my favourites etc.  I am going to try connecting it and see if it changes anything.

Yes I'd recommend connecting your V6 box so you can swap over your settings.

 

Once your V6 has been connected then it can take 48 hours to appear on the 'Manage My TiVo' page.

 

You can also log in through the TV Go site here.
