Tivo stuck on starting up

Tivo rebooted day before yesterday and then went through the Welcome splash screen and stuck on Starting up!

Called support and they asked for it to be rebooted a few times with no success. Then said it would be sent up the chain of support and I should wait three hours and reboot. Still no success.

Was busy yesterday but the Tivo is still sitting on Starting up with the light flashing white then red. 

Any suggestions?

We are sorry that you are having  issues with the service, can you ensure that all the connections are connected properly and try another reboot to see if anything changes?

All connections are secure and I have rebooted several more times. No change.

Today I moved the box from another room into the living room so that we can watch TV, but the Tivo 6 box is still not working.
