Anyone had any issues with intermittent whistling coming from their tivo box? We've had this in the past but it stopped for months, but has randomly started again. This can be on any channel, and is definitely coming from the tivo box and not the TV itself. 

Any solutions,  other than arranging for Virgin to replace the box?

While it's making the noise, try picking it up - if it stops it's more likely to be vibration.

Anything spongy under the feet should isolate it sufficiently.

But... If it really is whistling - I got nuffink! 🙂

Not sure. No more than a couple of years, I think. 

It's still doing it on and off. I think it's linked to how long it's been on (possibly). Anything more than 3 or 4 hours and it seems to be getting hot and whistling...
