Tivo box stuck at starting up

Is there anything i can do to fix this other than phoning for it to be repaired?     Tried switching it off at the mains and its still the same?

A few things can cause this to happen. Check the service status on My Virgin Media to see if there's any problems in your area.

If not then you'll have to call up 150 from your landline or 0345 454 1111 from other phones and use the option for "if there's a fault with your TV service". They should try to send some signals down the line to 'kick-start' it into booting up. If this doesn't work they'll send an engineer out. There may be a signal issue between the street cabinet and your property or the box might have given up the ghost and needs replacing.

I phoned 150 and they did tests and confirmed the box faulty as it no longer shows starting up now.

 

Sending out a new box for me to install.

Hi there, Having a similar issue to you. went to bed one night. fine. got up next day. turned on box.. stuck starting up. two solid red lights and a blue on the right hand side. have turned off/on. reset. nothing working. Wondered if there was anything you can do to help? TiA

Hi, having problems with my virgin media TiVo. Seemed like there was an interruption to service, turn it off / on - stuck at "Starting Up" screen with a blue light and a flashing red light. Need help!

Please help....

My box got stuck on starting up just before the big game (Eng v Cro) and I've tried everything. Its still not working.

I've done a test online and its coming up with no faults... but its still stuck.
