Tivo N27 Error "Network Cable Unplugged"

Hi,

The TV channels are working fine, the wifi is working fine, but it says "network cable unplugged" on TiVo and I cannot use apps.

Does anyone know how to fix?

Thanks,

Tom

Re: Tivo N27 Error "Network Cable Unplugged"

Phone Virgin Media and ask them to investigate why TiVo’s internet connection is failing.

TiVo does not use your broadband. It has its own 10Mb connection which is failing. The network cable is logical, not physical.

I also have this message on my secondary box but can only see channels 1-4, not authorized to view any other or use menu etc.  my primary TiVo box works fine.

Re: Tivo N27 Error "Network Cable Unplugged"

Error 4700 suggests that your box has been turned off, has become inactive and requires re-activating, assuming it is subscribed and paid for on your account.

You will have to take the advice in the 7400 message and call in.

Re: Tivo N27 Error "Network Cable Unplugged"

Hi, I’m also having this problem! We only joined virgin a month ago and as yet have not been able to use any apps for streaming (Netflix, iPlayer etc) because after a few minutes it comes up saying network cable unplugged and none of the apps work, but all the tv channels do.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Re: Tivo N27 Error "Network Cable Unplugged"

Hi Vickynott,

Welcome to our Community Forum and thanks for posting.

Can I ask what Hub do you have?

Is your TiVo box currently connected to the internet via wired or wireless connection?

Thanks,

Lisa

Re: Tivo N27 Error "Network Cable Unplugged"

Hi,

I have Hub 3.0, and TiVo box is connected by Ethernet cable, but the same things happen when it is wireless as well.

Thanks
