TiVo

I have just signed up with virgin setting up my TiVo box I connected to the wrong WiFi and it’s saying no connection to start the installing software but I don’t know how to get back to the beginning to connect to my own when I restart it just goes straight to the installing software page and I get the error how do I get back to the main bit to select a different WiFi pressing back is not an option

Whose WiFi did you connect to?

I can only think that turning that WiFi off might be a possible way forward.

It was like a BT one I clicked okay and it went straight to the install screen then realised what I did now it doesn’t let me go back so I can connect to my actual WiFi

It’s failing because V6 MUST connect to your Virgin Media broadband.

The only suggests I have are:

Connect to your Virgin Media broadband by Ethernet cable (if this is possible)

or

Turn off the BT WiFi.

Yeah that’s why I’m trying to go back but won’t let me go back to page that u select network I’ll have to call them thank u

My suggestion is that you power off both the V6 and the BT Router.

When you then power on the V6, it won’t be able to connect to the BT WiFi and will present you with the option to connect to the (correct) Virgin Media WiFi.
