TiVo sound

My mum has just had a new tv. Her old one connected to the TiVo box via scart leads. The new one has hdmi. It’s all working great until she switches off to go to bed. When she gets up in the morning and switches it on there’s no sound so she has to reboot the box for it to work. Any ideas on how to sort this? Hoping it’s just something simple!

Are all the wires connected up securely?

Yes, everything is connected fine. Still no sound on start up.

Thanks Ajb1975, 

When you say it's being switched off at night, is this the TV or the TiVo box? 

Does it happen if it isn't switched off the night before?

Tv and TiVo box switched off at night. Tv off at wall, TiVo box on standby.

Happens to me too. Some recordings have no sound either.  If you flick through the channels the sound goes off and have to restart to get it back.

Generally, the performance is pretty terrible.

When this issue does happen, is it across all of your channels or any in particular? Have you been in touch with our team to see what the issue is?
